Getting Here

All international flights arrive at Entebbe International Airport (EBB), 40km south of Kampala. From there, domestic flights connect to Kasese, Kisoro, and Kidepo. Road transfers are available to all parks with 4x4 vehicles recommended for remote areas.

Best Time to Visit

Dry seasons (Dec-Feb, Jun-Sep): Best for gorilla trekking and game drives. Trails are less muddy, wildlife congregates around water sources.
Wet seasons (Mar-May, Oct-Nov): Lush landscapes, fewer tourists, lower rates. Some remote roads may be challenging.

Visa & Entry

Most visitors require a tourist visa ($50) obtainable online via the e-visa system or on arrival. East African Tourist Visa ($100) covers Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda. Passport must be valid for 6 months beyond travel dates.
