1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using UgandaTravelHub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, registered members, tour operators, hotel owners, car hire providers, and others who access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

UgandaTravelHub is an online tourism platform that connects travelers with tour operators, hotels, car hire services, and other tourism providers in Uganda. We facilitate bookings, provide information, and enable communication between travelers and service providers.

We are a marketplace platform — we do not own, operate, or control the tours, hotels, vehicles, or services listed on our Platform. All services are provided directly by third-party operators.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Bookings and Payments

When you make a booking through UgandaTravelHub:

  • You enter into a direct contract with the service provider
  • Payment terms are set by the individual provider
  • Cancellation policies vary by provider and are displayed before booking
  • We may charge a service fee for facilitating the transaction

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any currency conversion fees or international transaction charges.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by each service provider and are clearly displayed on their listing pages. UgandaTravelHub is not responsible for refunds — all refund requests must be directed to the service provider.

In case of disputes, we will mediate between the traveler and provider to reach a fair resolution.

6. Service Provider Obligations

Tour operators, hotels, and car hire providers listing on UgandaTravelHub agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about their services
  • Honor all confirmed bookings at the stated price
  • Maintain necessary licenses, insurance, and permits
  • Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours
  • Deliver services as described in their listings
7. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
  • Attempt to bypass our booking system to avoid fees
  • Upload malicious software or engage in hacking
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission
  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
8. Intellectual Property

All content on UgandaTravelHub, including text, images, logos, and software, is our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

UgandaTravelHub acts as an intermediary platform. We are not liable for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by third parties
  • Accidents, injuries, or losses occurring during tours or stays
  • Provider cancellations, overbookings, or service changes
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid through our Platform for the specific booking in question.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UgandaTravelHub, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Uganda.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
